Pravus Gallery opened in November of 2006 as a collaborative effort by independent art and curating team The Molten Brothers—Mike Goodwin and Kenneth Richardson—and the owners of Perihelion Arts—Douglas Grant and Amy Young—after working together in a small capacity during the Molten Brothers’ annual custom skate deck invitational exhibit, DECK. Armed with a desire to showcase a wide variety of contemporary art in downtown Phoenix, Pravus opened in the downtown Phoenix arts complex, .antispace, where it resided until its recent relocation to 501 E. Roosevelt, enjoying nearly three times the space, creating the ability to run two separate exhibits simultaneously in this new location.

Pravus has displayed work from a variety of genres including lowbrow, surrealism, pop surrealism, comic, fine contemporary and urban contemporary in mediums that include painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking and custom vinyl and has no limits on either, just that we appreciate the artist’s vision.
